Activity Film: A Headless Body on Carter’s Duration: 1 min 45 sec This project was a high-concept digital activity video designed as a narrative extension of ZEE5’s crime thriller “Janaawar.” The film simulates a real-time crime scene unfolding on the streets connecting the audience directly to the show’s world through immersive storytelling. As the Lead Video Editor and Post-Producer, I oversaw the project from first cut to final delivery, ensuring creative alignment and platform-readiness through every phase of post-production. Editing & Post Context: The timeline comprised Multi-Layered active tracks, integrating multiple camera angles, sync dialogues, ambient recordings and SFX layers. Constructed the full sequence from raw handheld and static footage to craft an escalating tone from street chaos to investigative precision. Focused on reaction pacing, emotional timing and seamless narrative flow. Created a dense, layered soundscape using street ambience, crowd noise, sirens and Foley to build realism. Integrated a background score for Bhuvan Arora’s entry, designed to shift the tone, marking his arrival as a turning point. Applied color correction for continuity across natural light conditions. The visual tone carried the grime and tension of a live crime scene. Coordinated feedback loops, managed file renders, revisions and updates until final approval and delivery.
