Featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai, and Sahil Vaid - Silence 2 continues the gripping investigative tone of the first film with a darker, more stylized visual treatment.
From prop lists to setting up crime branch backdrops and from supervising green screen shoots to integrating VFX and motion graphics in post — this project was a complete creative cycle.
As an Assistant Director, I helped coordinate sets, manage scripts, and maintain shot continuity while collaborating with camera and art teams to bring each scene to life.
On-Set Contributions:
Prop Management: Oversaw and organized all props for each scene, ensuring accuracy and placement as per the shooting script.
Continuity Supervision: Maintained visual and narrative continuity by tracking completed shots, managing slates, and identifying pending sequences.
Set Coordination: Collaborated closely with the art and set departments to ensure backdrop accuracy, lighting alignment, and creative adherence to the director’s vision.
Assistant Direction: Supported the Director in scene execution, managed lines, and streamlined shoot flow between departments for efficient production.
Post-Production Responsibilities:
Promo Editing & Story Crafting: Structured and edited 20+ short and long promotional videos, maintaining tone, pace and narrative consistency.
Motion Graphics & Design: Created title cards, supers, lower-thirds, and end-slates to align with ZEE5’s cinematic branding.
Color Grading & Correction: Enhanced visual tone to match the noir, investigative aesthetic of the film.
Sound Design & Mixing: Balanced dialogue, layered SFX and synced BGM for impactful storytelling rhythm.
VFX & Compositing: Managed green-screen keying and compositing for integrated transitions and visual depth.
Platform Adaptation: Optimized edits in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16 & 1:1).
